A quality licensed home care agency is bonded and insured and also manages the performance and scheduling of its direct care staff, handles billing and payroll, and has back-up staff to fill in when needed. With a private hire caregiver, you’re responsible for setting up payroll and withholding taxes, caregiver vetting and background checks, and purchasing sufficient liability insurance to cover any accidents or injuries in the home.

People who need additional help with their care but want to stay in the comfort of their own home rather than a hospital, nursing home, or living with relatives.  It is also for those individuals whose family caregivers need some time off from their caregiving responsibilities.

All of our caregivers are employed by Vital Healthcare.  We will invoice you for the services provided within a certain period and we pay our caregivers as well as deduct taxes, insurance, benefits and other requirements.  It is prohibited that a caregiver receive money directly from a consumer unless that money is to be used FOR a consumer.

A Vital Healthcare care manager will be the primary point person to provide reporting status and coordinate and cross-communicate with the client, family, primary care physician, and other ancillary service providers.
